Our Reunion lunch was held at Ibos Restaurant and Bar in Hitchin on Tuesday 9 June and we all had such a good time catching up that we nearly stayed on for dinner! Nine of us were able to attend and in the photograph left to right are, Mick Slatter, John Adams, Clive Day, Ian Murrell, John Leather, Peter Seward, Peter Hall, Phil Aylott, and Alan Bollen. Many happy memories of our friends, good times, and a wonderful school.

Indeed, I have not logged in for a while and then I see suddenly familiar names appearing. I had forgotten that it was 50 years past that we left Hitchin Boys Grammar – as it was then.
Great to see that I am not the only one with grey hairs and a slightly more portly figure. Living between Amsterdam (Netherlands) and Lyon (France) and not often in the UK, I did not see this meeting until the last message around David Stancombe. I may have been able to plan something. It does seem that you had a good time.
I do follow Adrian Sillence’s posts on Facebook, and am jealous of his healthy lifestyle. Others in our year seem to be off my radar.
Hello! How often do you get together? I’m usually in Scotland, Hampshire, Devon or on the high seas, but would like to swing by Hitchin once in a while.
