Geoffrey Bridges
Barrie Powles, former student of the school between 1957 to 1962, died peacefully at home on Monday 25th May 2026 aged 80. He is survived by his daughters Gemma and Lucy, and son Gareth, and their families. Barrie had 11 grandchildren. When he left the school Barrie joined Barclays Bank, where he met his wife Janice, and rose through the ranks as Bank Manager.
